Each of these Christies came with something a little extra.
Cool clips Christie came with hair clips for you and her.
Christie with the knapsack with her belly top.
Fruit style Christie had an orange scent smell and  came with a fruit belt for you.
Rain or shine  Christie had a working umbrella for her
Amazing Nails Christie came with plastic nails for the you. 

Each Christie has a different look, which was great because growing up she had one look for the longest and the late nineties brought new face and skin tone  changes.

Christie is taking pictures with Steven from 1990's with his molded Afro and Steven from the 2000's with his real hair. I loved the fact that Steven finally got real hair.  Beyond Pink Christie finally meets 1968 Christie and Brad.

Christie has had several body changes over the years.  She went from slightly bendable at  the knees to full splits.

Her body has allowed more flexibility for sitting and stretching.  Beyond Pink Christie in Black is able to sit  in a chair without falling. It works better if she is wearing  pants. Dance Moves Christie or Barbie can do a full split.  This one came dress in blue and I redressed her.  The box says Barbie but Teresa is identified so I figured there was a mistake and she should be Christie. Her box said, "you can make her move like a real dancer”.  In the back is Jewel Girl Christie.  She was created in 2000 with first time Ever Flex waist.  The doll on the end has traditional bendable legs that were standard on most dolls. I cannot remember her name. 
I wish when I started collecting in  1991 that I tagged each one, but when  you start, you think you will remember every dolls’ name.

My favorite Christie.  She has bendable and flexible arms and legs. She came with personal info.  She had the info on the back of the box.  Until this Christie, there was little info about her after Talking Christie.

I want to be: A fashion Designer.   (I guess she changed her mind from wanting to be fashion model in 1969)

These are the Butterfly Art Dolls.   This is one of the rare times that I purchase Christie, Steven, Barbie, Teresa, Kira, and Ken.  I thought I was going to be rich.  The dolls were in the toy stores, but parents were in an uproar because it was promoting tattoos.  Mattel had all the dolls removed.  I was so happy I was able to get them before they were removed.  Just my luck,  they came back on the shelves within the year.  There goes my early retirement.

Christie Tribute 

Some of the series that Christie was in was dealt with beach or water.  This is probably where she met her last boyfriend Steven. Brad was gone and now a new guy was on the scene. She appeared in several series with him.  In this photo: Cali Girl Christie.  She came with different feet. She had bigger flat feet and could not wear any of the old shoes. She came with a paper surf board.  Beach Party Steven. Flip and Dive Christie. She loves to do flips

off her cool diving board.  She came with her own diving board.

In these series no one came with shoes.

She is a little shy about her feet.

This Christie is Party Party Party Christie.  She was an exclusive for Walmart.  This is one of the few Christies that I left in the box. I like the gift set and did not want to separate it. The back of the box came with Party invites.
