50th Anniversay of James Bond Film Franchise

During the Month of October,  James Bond film series celebrated 50 years of creating movies.  There have been several movies with some memorable characters- Yaphet Kotto, Julius Harris, Gloria Hendry, Geoffrey Holder, Earl Jolly Brown in Live and Let Die; Bernie Casey in Never Say Never Again;  Halle Berry in Die Another Day; Grace Jones in A View to Kill; Colin Salmon in Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough, Die Another Day; Jeffrey Wright in Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Trina Parks in Diamonds are Forever.

Sorry for not posting for awhile.  I was chairperson for an annual luncheon that occurred this past Saturday and I was busy preparing for the event.  I am back now.  I survived Hurricane Sandy and I am just waiting for the power to be restored.  This is a time to thank friends and family that you can count on to help you through these times.  I am able to post because of them.

Michael Clarke Duncan

A tribute to a great actor

Michael Clarke Duncan appeared in several movies.  He was created as an action figure for three of his movies.  He played an African Prince, Balthazar in the Scorpion King. He was created as a 6" figure by Jakks Pacific.  He also appeared in Sin City as Manute and was created as a character in a black and white movie. The figure was 6" and was created by Neco in 2005.

He also played Attar in the movie "Planet of the Apes".  His character was created in 2001 by Hasbro.  He was created with sound and was  12" figure.

The New Ladies

 I recently bought three new female dolls/figures.  

Evening Gown Barbie Doll with the silkstone body.

Fuchsia and Fur Francie.   She has a silkstone body.  I am able to enjoy Francie without spending the monies for an original.  I was ready at 12:00 pm eastern standard time to place my order.  I was not going to miss her.

Phicen (name of company)  The figure has no name.  The 1/6 Seamless female body has 33 points of articulation. The body shows no visible joints.
