I purchased the Noland action figure by Hot Toys. The figure is from the 2010 movie, Predators. The movie is about "a group of elite warriors that are hunted by members of a merciless alien race known as Predators"* Noland is "a scavenger that suffers from schizophrenia. He refers to himself as being part of the air cavalry (most likely in the USA). He is a survivor of 10 hunting seasons."*
This sculpt is a good likeness of the actor.
The bad thing about the action figure is that the vest is not removable. The only option is to cut the straps on the side of the vest.
The box is filled with everything Noland had in the movie to fight the Predators.
The actor is Laurence Fishburne.

Hot Toys makes the best figures. Noland does capture Fishburn's likeness.

That is a very nice sculpt. I like that he has some weight on him.

ReplyDeleteGee, I hope he is eventually sold as a nude doll. Or parted out the way many figures are. Sigh.
I agree that they did a great job. The weight represents him in 2010 which I think is great since I have a smaller weight version from the matrix.
