This was the first day of the raffle room.  Many clubs and people donated dolls and goodies to the raffle room.  You are able to purchase tickets and put tickets in the boxes of your choice.
The raffle room had a lot to offer and So in Style yahoo group submitted wonderful items too.

2012 Barbie Convention-Wed.

It was the welcome reception.  This year they had a full food buffet but it was a surprised because you thought it was just a salad buffet until you continued down the line.  They also had the golden ticket raffle for the first time.  You were given raffle tickets to get a chance to win one of the raffle dolls.

Let the room shopping begin.  It actually begun on Sunday.

2012 Barbie Convention-Tuesday

Hello,  I am back and rested from the Convention.
I had a wonderful time and here are some pictures from the convention.  Some of the events started on Tuesday, July 10, 2012.  The OOAK (one of a kind) artists hosted their shows on this day.   

Magia 2000 (the convention doll artists)  had a fashion show and runway to show their dolls .  They created a lottery system to allow everyone a fair chance to win the dolls.  They had about 41 dolls.

Here are a few:

Ninimomo hosted a viewing of their dolls.  They allowed people to buy the dolls on a first come first serve basis. Conventioneers were pulling the dolls off the display.  Thus, I did not get to see all the dolls.

I chose to show some of the ladies that my male figures would like.

 

Artist Creations also hosted a party.  They had several dolls and a special Madonna exhibit.  They had a raffle for one of their dolls.

Barbie Convention

I am going to the Barbie Convention.  I will not be posting while I am the convention.  I will share pictures when I come back.  Thanks.

Carlito

I recently purchased Carlito, the wrestler for his hair. I like the male figures that have real hair.     He is the only figure in the series to have real hair and not have his hair molded.

  He is a pro wrestler with World Wrestling Entertainment.  The figure is from the series called Ring Giants and is a 14" Poseable Action Figure.  His legs twist and turn but do not bend.    He has 13 points of articulation.  The figure was created by Jakks Pacific in 2005.

This is the 12" figure that has molded hair.
