I am glad I went and was able to get dolls that might never hit the website. But I was a little disappointed in that there were no Convention activities to get to know other conventioneers. No lectures, talks or presentations. No dancing at the parties and no after banquet fun.
They had 4 centerpiece dolls for the lunch and dinner events and none were African American.
This Convention is about buying the dolls than celebrating the collectors that buy the dolls. Good thing I was next to the inner harbor and could go explore.
They were generous with the doll gifts at the events. You got one doll and could win the right to purchase another.
It was good experience and I came home with some great dolls.

Thanks for sharing your first IT Convention experience? What's a doll convention without activities? I guess IT is straight to the point by offering dolls for sale. Your purchases are nice and the convention gifts are nice as well. Do you plan to keep or sell the gifts? Selling them, if you don't desire to keep them, would be a way to recoup the expense of the convention package.
