Women's History Month
A tribute to Dominque Dawes She is the first African-American woman to win an individual Olympic medal in artistic gymnastics, and the first black person of any nationality or gender to win an Olympic gold medal in gymnastics. She won this medal in the 1996 Olympics as a team member.
She also is one of three to compete in three Olympics.
Wonderful way to remember Dawes' gymnastics accomplishments at the Olympics.
